Our Christ-centered program blends biblical truth with early childhood education, helping preschoolers grow in their love for Jesus while building foundational skills in literacy, math, science, and more.

ENROLLMENT
We follow the same school year schedule as the public school system. Our school year starts in August and ends the first week of June. We allow for existing parents to enroll their children first and then we open to the public and remaining spaces School Calendar available. We call on our waiting list before we allow those not on the waiting list to enroll. We start calling on our waiting list in April, then May it is open to the public. We welcome parents to stop by and tour our facilities. Making an appointment is always recommended.

SAFETY & SECURITY
For the safety of your child, strict procedures are in place.

No one is allowed to pick your child up unless they are authorized by parents. Parents give us a list of authorized family and friends that are allowed to pick up their child. Each teacher has this list and verifies names by checking drivers' licenses when they arrive to pick up their child. We also use the Procare System. Every person that is a regular on the pick-up list for their child will register their fingerprint on the computer. Children are to be signed in and signed out every day on the computer.

We conduct fire drills regularly as well as emergency preparedness drills.

We have security cameras throughout the church and at all entrances.

All classrooms are cleaned daily.

Outside play areas are well maintained and routinely checked for safety hazards.

CURRICULUM
First Baptist Preschool is a Ministry of First Baptist Sebring that seeks to nurture and sustain a positive Christian environment centered on the development of the complete child: Spiritually, Mentally, Physically and Socially. We are here to help develop Christian growth and education, and to provide a loving, nurturing and safe environment for each and every child.
Our children in the one and two-year-old classrooms use the High Reach curriculum. We use ABEKA curriculum for our three and four-year-olds. We take great pride in teaching the fundamentals of learning. As part of the academic curriculum your children will be learning Bible Verses weekly.
All teachers are required to submit a weekly lesson plan.
